Carmel Veterinary Centre was established in 1993 with the belief that everyone should have affordable, professional care for their pets. More than fifteen years on, this is still our mission.
Understanding our clients and the concerns they have for their animals, allows us to provide a wide range of services from excellent emergency treatment to advice on providing improved well being and preventative care. We only employ the best staff to ensure that your pet receives the best possible care.
Our dedication to clinical excellence is backed by our commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for all staff, ensuring that the most up-to-date treatments are available at a time when your pet needs it most.
We are exceptionally proud of our surgery and hold monthly "Behind the Scene" tours. Our staff will be happy to show you all treatment and surgical areas, describing and demonstrating our state of the art equipment and its uses. The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)- the governing body for Veterinary Surgeons - has accredited us with an award under the "Practice Standards Scheme". This award requires ongoing maintenance & updating - that is to say, we are examined on a regular basis and are happy to say, we have passed the exams AGAIN, in January 2009. We are proud to say that we are one of the first practices in this country to achieve this award, which was developed to give an assurance of the highest standards of veterinary care. We shall continue to work with the RCVS to maintain such high standards within our practice.
We are continually ensuring that all of our staff are excelling in their roles and providing you and your pet with the best service available. Want to join us? We will send you an information pack for your pet and make an appointment for you, should you wish.
